Licence per PC

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The licence per PC uses the name of the PC (hostname) and stores this name in the licence file. Once the Multimedia Player is started, it checks if the PC name is already stored in the licence file and if not, it starts only if a free licence is available. After the Multimedia Player has been terminated, the licence is still in use.

A PC can be removed from the licence file in the Licence Viewer. The licence is then available for another PC.

This licence type can be used for a single PC installation (licence = 1 = limitation to 1 PC) or network installation.

All files have to be on the server in the same directory - see files for distribution
