Licence Per User / Person

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The licence per User uses the Windows user name and stores this name in the licence file. Once the Multimedia Player is started, it checks if the user name is already stored in the licence file and if not, it starts only if a free licence is available. After the Multimedia Player has been terminated, the licence is still in use. If a user is logged in with the same name on multiple PCs it is counted as one licence.

This licence type can be used for a single user installation (licence = 1 = limitation to 1 user) or network installation.

A user can be removed from the licence file in the Licence Viewer. The licence is then available for another user.

All files have to be on the server in the same directory - see files for distribution
