Required Azure Services

Depending on the enabled features, one or more Azure subscriptions are required, such as services for bot communication, media handling, and speech-to-text processing. These subscriptions must be active in the customer’s Azure tenant to allow the MS Teams integration to operate correctly.

Cost Model

Azure services are consumption-based. Costs depend on actual usage, for example:

•Number of calls and call duration

•Volume of transcription minutes

•Region in which the Azure services are hosted

 

As a result, pricing can vary significantly depending on call volume and feature usage. There is no fixed monthly fee for these services; costs scale with usage.

Transparency and Cost Control

Administrators can monitor and manage Azure usage and costs directly in the Azure Portal. Microsoft provides detailed pricing information and calculators to estimate expected costs before enabling features at scale.
