Licence Protector Multimedia Edition uses a licence file (extension .lic) to store licence information. This file is modified during the program start and during activation. The user needs read and write access for the file.
This is especially important in a network environment or if distributing the application via CD/DVD. If CD/DVD distribution is used, then a switch has to be set to copy the file to the hard disk drive - see details.
Always make a backup of the licence file if you start the Multimedia Player directly. The licence file is modified with each start and can not be used any longer for distribution.
