This switch is only needed if the application is distributed via CD/DVD. It copies the licence file to the hard disk drive (folder ..\documents and settings\all users\application data\company name 1). This ensures, that the user has a write access to the licence file. For more information about the licence file see chapter The Licence File.

This option automatically set the number of licences to 1 because a CD version can be used only as a single user version. Also the option Advanced Protection against Reinstallation can not be selected.
