With either of this method, the customer has to send you the installation code (8 digit hardware ID), Serial Number, name, e-mail address and you have to send back the Unlock Key (Copy Protection Key). Additionally, a second key to delete the time limitation is necessary. This second key (called Copy Protection Switch On Key) is stored in the source of the application.

 

 

 

Note

You have to check if the Serial Number was already used or not. If the Web Activation server is installed but the customer sends the information via e-mail, Phone or Fax, then starting with version 2.5 the Unlock Key can be generated within the Web Activation interface which ensures, that the key can not be used twice.
