This Service Pack fixes some minor issues and should only be used, if you run into a problem with one of the following issues:
| • | New digital signature, which expires in March 2010. The digital signature of the release version 2.6 expired in March 2008. |
| • | EasyGo screen - spelling mistake in French and Danish corrected |
| • | Serial Number: Licence Protector tries to correct a typing error automatically. Example: The Serial Number is BT994-96PC1-9Z834-WW4EM-4i47N-OJ7HX. If the user types in BT994-96PC1-9Z834-WW4EM-4i47N-0J7HX the number is automatically translated to the correct number. Version 2.6 sends the number with the typing error to the Activation Server where version 2.6.1 sends the correct number to the Activation Server |
| • | The screen - Activation by Phone would accept any valid activation key (= key which was created for the product). Version 2.6.1 now additionally checks, if it is a Serial Number key (status activation = required). This is only a problem if the user gets 2 keys (Serial Number + Activation Key) and uses the wrong key as the Serial Number |
