Placetel CTI für Salesforce® can directly connect (without TAPI) via the GoConnect Server to the PBX. This server integrates with a lot of phone systems - list of supported phone systems.
Using the GoConnect server make especially sense when
•You do not want to install a local component (TAPI driver and CTI Data Connector - TAPI Link)
•The PBX vendor does not offer a TAPI driver
•The TAPI driver does not support 64bit
•The TAPI driver does not support Citrix / Terminal server
