Some compilers (known for Visual Studio C++ 2007 an newer) crash when using PrepareAndCheck. The reason is the tag value parameter. Use PrepareAndCheckNT instead

In case a license is locked, the user can try to reactivate or use a new Serial Number (new option)

Time limited full version (subscription). Once the subscription expires, the user can type in a new Serial Number to prolong the subscription. Screen Full version expired

Installation Instruction

 

Automated installation

•Select in the program manager group Check for Updates

•The update is downloaded and installs the License Generator and the DLL / COM exe files

•To update the Automatic License Generator (only necessary if license files are generated) open a support ticket.

 

Manual Update

•Download Service Pack 4.1 (Licence Generator and DLL / COM exe)

•Launch lpinstall41.exe

Backward compatibility

Activation Keys

•The LicProtector410.DLL can read all Activation Keys from prior version. It can also create Activation Keys which will work in older versions.

 

License Files

The license file has not changed. Licence Generator 4.0 and DLL / COM exe 4.0 can open license files generated with version 4.1

 
 

Activation Server

 

•The Activation Server 4 can accept Transactions from prior DLL versions

•The Activation Server 4 supports all features from Licence Protector 4.1. It is mandatory to upgrade to Activation Server version 4.1 or newer if Licence Protector version 4 is used

 

 

If you use the Hosting Server, it will be automatically upgraded.
