The Activation Server logs all operations in an error log. To get an detail error, login into the Web Administration Interface, select menu Administration / Setup, Download Logfile. Search in the logfile for the error.

 

After making changes restart the Activation Server to ensure, that all modifications are applied. Select menu Administration / Setup, Restart Activation Server.
