After the setup is completed by the Administrator, you can access Microsoft Teams meeting protocols directly in Salesforce. The recorded meeting details will be available in Salesforce, making it easier to track conversations and follow up efficiently.
To access the meeting protocols, open the corresponding Event in Salesforce and navigate to the bottom in the Details tab, where the meeting details are displayed in a dedicated component, as highlighted in the image below.
Depending on the meeting type and scenario, the corespondent available options will appear.
The meeting chat in Microsoft Teams allows participants to share messages, links, and files during and after a meeting. It helps keep everyone informed and serves as a space for follow-up discussions. The chat is available even after the meeting ends for easy reference.
The meeting chat button will open the meeting chat either in Teams or in your browser.
You can choose, if you want to open the meeting chat in your Teams application or in your browser.
To access the Meeting Information, simply click the button as highlighted in the image below.
A window will pop, showing all meeting relevant information in the corresponding fields as such:
•Meeting Subject - the meeting title
•Actual Start Date Time - the actual time when the meeting started
•Actual End Date Time - the actual time when the meeting ended
•Organizer Name - name of the meeting organizer
•Organizer Email - email address of the meeting organizer
•Invitees - people who got invited to the meeting
•Attendees - people who actually attended the meeting
By clicking on the Open in Stream button, the meeting recording will be opened together with other meeting information.
The Open in Stream option in Microsoft Teams allows users to view meeting recordings in Microsoft Stream, an enterprise video platform within Microsoft 365. This integration enables users to watch, manage, and share videos securely within their organization. By opening a meeting recording in Stream, participants can access features such as chapters, transcripts, notes, search, and meeting recaps, enhancing collaboration and information sharing.
By clicking on the Download Transcription button, you will be able to download the meeting transcription to your machine in a VTT file format.
This option allows you to view the meeting transcription within Salesforce.
Once clicked on the View Transcription button, a window will pop up showing the meeting transcription.
