Lock / revoke a license / Regular Online checks / Subscriptions

It is possible to lock / revoke a license after the activation is done or check if a subscription or maintenance contract is still valid. This feature requires the Activation Server 4.
There is an inbuilt command which regularly checks, if the license is still valid or not.
The workflow is as follows:
| • | Licence Protector MAC Edition checks every x days online, if the license is still valid |
| • | The license can be locked on the Activation Server 4 |
| • | The next online check detects that the license is locked and freezes the local license (error screen) |
| • | The license can be unlocked on the the Activation Server 4 again |
| • | The license could be activated again with a new Serial Number |
| • | A final date to stop the license verification can be defined |
A typical scenario would be to cover charge backs of credit cards. The license is checked e.g. every 30 days and the license check ends after 4 months.
An individual online check is also possible.
