Sales Classic / Service Cloud / Lightning

Multiple improvements for Person Accounts. Now always the contact record is assigned so that an additional second record (case, opportunity) can be assigned

Follow-up task, Related To object like opportunity or case is inserted if assigned in the phone call

Follow-up task - if DonĀ“t save is checked then the Follow-up task options are disabled

Caller identification while doing a call transfer. Now works with Nfon, Placetel and Swyx **

Internal calls are always shown but never saved **

Adapter URL is now no longer dependent on the Salesforce instance and no reconfiguration is required for Sandbox or if instance name changes

Set default value for a manual selection of Call Wrap Up and unsuccessful outgoing calls

Clicking on red button in the CTI Data Connector SoftPhone will always terminate the call in Salesforce even if the phone system does not answer to the call termination. This prevents that the phone call continues in the CTI Data Connector SoftPhone in case of an error in the phone system

If a case is automatically created after an inbound call the TAB name now is the case number and not the text New Case

If a case is automatically created after an inbound call and the phone number was anonymous, then no case was created. Now a case is created once a contact is selected **

If a connection to the Mirage Cloud Service is interrupted, the connection icon turns to red. It will now try to reconnect every 10 seconds

If no record is found and the setting in Softphone Layout is to automatically create a new account or contact,  the phone number is automatically inserted (previous versions only for new Lead)

Lightning

Clicking on the name in the CTI Data Connector SoftPhone considers the configuration defined in the SoftPhone Layout (open in existing Browser windows / new Browser TAB)

Phone System integrations

CTI Data Connector - TAPI Link and CTI Data Connector - Skype for Business Link does no longer use TLS 1

CTI Data Connector - TAPI Link and CTI Data Connector - Skype for Business Link require .NET 4.5.1 (automatically installed if not available)

CTI Data Connector - TAPI Link - if the TAPI driver generates errors an automatic reload of the CTI Data Connector - TAPI Link can be configured **

 

Support for CTI Data Connector - TAPI Link and CTI Data Connector - Skype for Business Link with TLS1 will be discontinued in Spring 2019 Release. An update to version 5.7 or newer is mandatory until that date.

 

Skype for Business

Changing presence state in the CTI Data Connector SoftPhone will change the presence state in Skype for Business

Configuring a call wrap-up time will set Skype for Business to DND

Own call center adapter with default values for Skype for Business

 

 

 

In case for unsuccessful outgoing calls the Call Wrap Up option is enabled, the default value for the picklist showed empty

Subject line of the task had a wrong time in some setups

In very rare cases the activity could be deleted after the call

Outgoing phone lines - often used option 1 instead of the selected line

Fixed TAB synchronization error where 4 buttons were shown on the CTI Data Connector SoftPhone

Lightning - open task after call automatically in combination with Call Wrap Up disabled did not always open the task

Lightning - open task after call automatically could result in opening the same task in different Browser Tabs

Lightning - configuration: Call Wrap Up for unsuccessful outgoing calls(Y/N)=Y - sometimes showed empty call result as first call result in the picklist

Sales Classic - dial from task - searches for the contact and assigns the contact to the call

Service Cloud - if new lead  / contact is automatically created when a phone number was not found, the new lead is now assigned to the call

 

 

Browser specif changes

IE - advanced search does not open multiple tabs

Improve synchronization when changing to another tab

 

Note - this is the last update for IE. Support for IE will be discontinued in Spring 2019 Release. We recommend switching to Chrome or Firefox as soon as possible.

Install Update

The update installation process depends if you are using connectors and if new call center adapter configurations should be used

 

Install CTI Data Connector SoftPhone application version 5.7.x  (mandatory - version number is 5.8.0.48)

Update Call Center Adapter (only required for all modifications marked with *)

Update CTI Data Connector - TAPI Link or CTI Data Connector - Skype for Business Link (only required for all modifications marked with **)
