Type in phone number in CTI Data Connector SoftPhone or dial from handset - in case the phone number is not found the configuration in the SoftPhone Layout: No matching records is ignored

 

 

Anonymous calls - wrong name was shown in CTI Data Connector SoftPhone

The phone call could be assigned to an object which is not supported by Salesforce (e.g. task assigned to task) and as a result the task would not save or would be deleted

Sometimes the CTI Data Connector SoftPhone just showed a code from the Salesforce calendar

 

Install Update

The update installation process depends if you are using version 5.4 or a pre-release version of 5.5 Users of the pre-release 5.5 can just update the CTI Data Connector SoftPhone SoftPhone application while users of version 5.4 should also update the call center adapter and TAPI Link Connector.

 

Install CTI Data Connector SoftPhone application version 5.6.055  (mandatory)

Update Call Center Adapter (recommended - required for Lightning Experience, Skype für Business, uaCSTA handsets and if new configuration options are used)

Update CTI Data Connector - TAPI Link (optional but recommended - no longer requires a Serial Number.)

Note - in case the CTI Data Connector - TAPI Link application is not updated, you have to set the option: SoftPhone handles dialing rules=N to be backward compatible.

 

To install this update a valid cloud subscription is required.

TLC (CTI Data Connector - TAPI Link). The latest version is 5.6.0

TLC x.x (uaCSTA) is displayed when an Handset with Mirage uaCSTA Cloud Connect is used. This is for informational purpose only
