CTI Data Connector for Salesforce® integrates in Microsoft Teams supporting landline phone calls (PSTN calling). This offers several advantages in comparison with a regular PBX:
•get presence state information and see which colleague is available
•free calls to other Teams users
•organize web meetings
•no expensive Desk Phone required
It works in Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic including Sales and Service Cloud Console.
Any device supported by Microsoft Teams can be used - Windows, MAC computer and devices with Browser access to Salesforce (Salesforce Mobile App not supported)
•Microsoft Teams with an office E3 or E5 plan including calling plans
•ContactCenter4ALL agent plus license
•SBC (Session Border Controller)
A gateway to the PSTN (landline phone numbers) is required. There are 2 options
•Microsoft offers in some countries (Belgium / France / Germany / Ireland / Netherlands / Spain / US / UK - click here for complete list) the PSTN service . You order that through the office 365 account.
•Cloud service providers offering the PSTN service for MS-Teams like Pfalzcloud (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), Nfon (Germany), Nextel (Belgium), TDC group (Denmark) or Arkadin (global) ,G3 Comms, Claranet (UK) or MyNetFone Group (Australia)
