Minimum Configuration Settings

During installation, the Configuration Wizard was already started. You can define a lot of individual configuration settings there. The following settings have to be defined to guarantee a basic functionality.

TAPI device driver - it is delivered by the telephone manufacturer. See also: System requirements - TAPI driver . If you don't have a TAPI driver yet, you can use the Telephone Simulator for testing.
Prefix for external calls and the minimum length of a phone number indicating an external call
Button Dialing Rules - configures country settings and area code. See also special configuration for US / Canada
The option: Show all contact folders allows to use the public and private contact folders for caller identification. The option: Show only default contact folder displays only private contact folders.
Button Folder - Select Microsoft Outlook™ contact folder for caller identification. You have to close Outlook before you can select the contact folders.

Just by setting this minimum configuration you will be able to make outgoing calls and to identify incoming calls. The Configuration Wizard can be started any time by right click on the icon, option Configuration Wizard.
